Back to Business
The internet connection at my workplace went *kaput* for the last couple of days. My boss was pretty pissed that he blamed us for getting the computer virus by surfing the net (huh?). Yeah... it's a lame-o excuse... He has refrained us from surfing the net but.... hey hey... I'm one with the Devil's horn....
Anyway... am disappointed of Friendster (actually the members. Ok Ok to be precise, my list). The reality sunk in, people add *me* for the sake of adding, perhaps my profile gives the impression that I'm *cool* or whatsoever. I don't get many replies. Something's really wrong.
Haven't touch a book for quite some time... the last book I read was Man & Boy (Tony Parsons). Not my type of book despite good raves. I just like the part where his dad passed away - very sad. Am thinking twice to buy the sequel, Man & Wife. Hmm.... the last book that I could not put down was probably Harry Potter & the Order of the Phoenix. Wow... that's like more than a year. The Da Vinci Code (Dan Brown) is currently number 1 but I don't really dig detective novels. Probably I'd try The Five People You Meet in Heaven (Mitch Albom) and The Curious Incident of Dog in the Night-Time (Mark Haddon). Their synopsis sounds pretty good to me and I've been wanting to read them for quite some time. But what bugs me is that I need to travel for an hour (to go to MPH Ipoh) just to get a book.... Urgh. I even need to order some books online (Fantastic Beasts & Where to Find Them & Quidditch Through the Ages - J.K. Rowling. I'm certified Potter maniac. So sue me!).
