Turk Fics: Successful Way to Forget the Blues
Instead of whining about my current situation, I go seek ways to amuse myself. Hence, a Turk fic that I found in the net quite long time ago. Pardon? Did I hear you asking who's Turk? Turks is the *takes a deep breath* unofficial nickname of the Investigation Sector of the General Affairs Department of the Shin-Ra Electric Power Company. Phew~
Reno often commented on how boring the ringtone for Tseng’s PHS was, to a point where Tseng had left it as “ring ring” in spite of Reno’s complaints.
Challenge accepted, Reno decided to take matters into his own hands, and managed to “borrow” Tseng’s PHS long enough to change the settings with the help of a few magazine advertisements for cheap PHS ringtones.
The meeting room was silent as Rufus shuffled through his papers, higher management politely waiting for him to continue. Until Tseng’s PHS rang.
The choice of ringtone was enough to earn Reno a week’s punishment.But the look on Tseng’s face was worth it!
XD My guess of the ringtone was Looney Tunes' tone. But the writer's imagination was way better than me; the crazy frog tune. Try imagine Tseng sitting there and suddenly: "BEH-DINGDINGDINGDING...!" and he goes all red with a sweatdrop!
Huh? What? Did you ask who's Tseng? Oh...see below.
LOL Oh well, for those who don't really understand this post... erm.... sorry. This post is meant to amuse myself (and to post Reno up). ^___^

No really, I've signed one up for free, like, in July to comment someone's work. Of course, me being a cheapo, I signed up a FREE membership. But today, I found out (with help from IHI-chan) that I actually hold a paid (for one month anyway) account!

Engineer fined RM100 for animal abuse:A doggone shame!

The seven-year-old canine, going by the name Sheena, was found in a pitiful state and was put to sleep immediately by the Kuala Lumpur Veterinary Services Department as it could not be saved.Based on the post mortem report, Sheena suffered from infection caused by ticks, brittle bones due to malnutrition from young and malfunction of all major organs causing water retention which resulted in a bloated abdomen, empty bladder and stomach. In a nutshell, the dog starved to death.

It was found by Veterinary Services Department officers in the compound of house No. 38, USJ 17/3B, in Subang Jaya at 2.45pm on Aug 18. Sheena was put to sleep the same day.
Yesterday, its owner Lien Chong San, 46, apologised to magistrate Hafizah Abdul Rajak, claiming the dog was old and sick.
"When I first got the dog, she was well looked after. Subsequently, I had to move and had other problems to deal with. I could no longer look after her." Hafizah fined him RM100, in default two days’ jail.
Lien paid the fine and tried to escape photographers by hiding behind court officials as he left the magistrate’s court.
Later after proceedings, Selangor SPCA animal inspector Sabrina Yeap, told reporters that when Sheena was found, she was seated in front of her rusty bowl, filled with dirty water.
"She had ticks all over her body, and the condition was filthy. Her faeces were all over the compound," she said.
"Lien neglected giving adequate care to Sheena, causing her health to deteriorate, leaving her infected with fleas." 
Late Sheena. He was charged under Section 44(1)(d) of the Animal Ordinance 1953, which carries a maximum RM200 fine, or a maximum six months in jail, or both.
"We will appeal to the High Court for the maximum sentence under this section. RM100 is too low," Yeap said.
"The dog died because of Lien’s neglect and we strongly feel he should be jailed."
She said the SPCA will fight for the amendments to the Animal Ordinance (Section 44), seeking stiffer punishment for those who abuse or neglect their pets.
"Animals cannot talk, but they have their rights too. Hence, we must speak up and protect them," Yeap said.
I've been wanting to post this up when I read this horrific news from the local newspaper almost a week ago but it just saddened me so much to see poor Sheena. In fact, while writing this post, I choked in tears for a couple of times. I mean, look at her! What had she done to deserve this? Oh my God. Furthermore, that monster was fined RM100 only!!! That's like freakin' US$27!!!! What the hell! What is that all about!?
I hope karma hits that monster to Kingdom Come.

Ambivalent Singapore
Well.... my 5-day trip to Singapore has ended and it left me in ambivalence. The city itself amazed me and at the same time disappointed me. Without further ado, I shall start from Day One.
(Today I found out how to post mutiple pictures in a post using photobucket.com. YEAH!)
Day One
Reached Woodlands @ 1950 hours. The 10-hour-ride on the freakin' bus was no joyride. I thought I'd die during the ride. It was an ordeal. There was a guy that yakked on his cell throughout the entire journey. Did not want to think about the ride back home. Seeing him was exhilarating. Yeah...
Stopped at too-tired-to-remember-mall and had a satisfying pig innards soup. Yummy. Went straight home @ Compassvale. Snuggled up happily under the covers.
Day Two
Woke up @ 0900 hours to go to Singapore Zoo. Breakfast @ Famous Yakun @ Compass Point (?). Too sleepy to take pics...
Took many pictures, of course and realised most were of monkeys. **giggles**
Shiraz named this guy Cock Nose.
And these are Wanky ( er... the Senior & the Junior?) After taking the shot, Wanky Jr played with his you-know-what. Ewww....

**Photobucket is a bit a pain in my ass right now... so I think the pics are enough for now.
Watched half of the Animal Friends Show and managed to tape it with my handycam before the battery died on me. Brandy & Major, the dogs, were amazing!! Watched half (again) of Wonders of the World Show. Had late lunch @ KFC. Feet starting to hurt. >_<
Left the Zoo and off we went to the Chinatown.
Souvenirs were aplenty there. Bought lotsa stuff. Dinner @ ....... I forgot. Oh my, what did I have for dinner!?
Day Three
Woke up @ nearly noon. Yesterday was darn tiring. Argh... it hurt to walk. Went to Chinese Garden. He was told there was a wax house. Found out that it was closed for like 3-5 years already. -_- Feet damn hurt. Bought a pair of Bata Slippers. Yeah. Was pretty bitchy about it. Sulked for almost half of the day. Wandered around Bugis Street. COULD NOT WALK ANYMORE. Ended up buying groceries in Cold Storage and cooked dinner for him and the landlords.
Day Four
He had to go to work. Got the whole day for myself before meeting Yong in the evening. Shit... woke up with fever. Brushed teeth and had some dried apricots before dozing off. Woke up @ 1600 hours and fever has gone down but still felt a bit wonky.
Met Yong @ Orchard Road, 1800 hours. Shopping haven! o.O A treat from Yong @ DeliFrance. Yours truly forgot to charge her handycam... only managed to snap one shot. Feet still hurt! Argh!
DAY FOUR
Also had the whole morning to myself. Nursed my poor aching feet. Meeting forum friends today in the evening. It was Jan's birthday-cum-Rae's in Spore gathering. Was damn late. The other half got held up at work. Killed time wandering in Takashimaya. Feet still ached like hell... Bought another pair of sandals @ m)phosis. Ah... relieved. Got lost in Takashimaya. **shamed**
Pleasure meeting Jan, Ben & Kexin. Played mahjong until 0400 hours. Crazy. DAY FIVE
Woke up @ whopping 1600hours. Time to go home. Haven't buy the bus ticket. HE was SUPPOSED to buy it yesterday. Anyway, had dinner @ Wasabi. Big portion. Dirt cheap. Reached @ the bus station @ 2030 hours and bought ticket for 2100 hours ride. Shuddered @ the thought of the ordeal again. The person sitting next to moi had no courtesy to use his freakin' earphone while listening his chinese techno.
Vowed not to take bus to Singapore again.
Phew~ What a long post!

Oh ya.... would like to recommend Samurai Champloo's tracks to you guys. They are frickin' awesome. Tracks like Just Forget, Arurian Dance & Sanctuary Ship are marvellous. Go get them!

CG Madness
Is it just me who thinks that this guy is kick-a** hot!?
This eye candy is Reno, from the ever-awesome game Final Fantasy VII. FFVII is Square's top best selling game and a sequel's done in the form of a CG movie. The movie is just too awesome to be true and the CG's flawlessly perfect. I'm terribly impressed. I could recall the times when I looked over my brother's shoulder while he was playing the game umpteenth years ago. I remember vividly how cute chocobos were and how I disliked Yuffie's name. (YUFFIE!? What kind of name is that!?). I also remember the love-hate feeling for Sephiroth (He's just drop-dead cool, ok!). I've only played the game once and never touched it again, for I killed Cloud instantly. I'm just plain suck at computer games. Anyway.... back to Advent Children. I don't remember Reno. At all.... don't know why....probably I wasn't interested as he was one of the baddies in the game. But in the movie, he's.... he should be on the good side. LOL. Well, I should not spoil it anymore for you
guys who haven't watch it. Go watch it!!!! The graphic's just too much!
Oh yeah.... a non-anime/computer-geek colleague of mine, watched it for a while (I was watching it at work. Heck, I did everything at work! Ha!) and she's darn jealous of the characters' perfect hair. You should see my face when she announced suddenly during Cloud-Kadaj-Yazoo-Loz fight, "Damn... their hair's got rebonded to perfection wei!" (What a bimbotic statement...)Priceless.... she totally made me lost concentration on the movie for a while. And also I had another colleague, who has already watched it, sitting beside me and narrated half of the movie for me. Must be KARMA for doing these things at work.
