It's Just Minutes Away!

Oh wow... it's the last day of 2005. Heck how I wished I could tell you that it's a swell year. Anyway... I look forward to 2006. 2006's gonna rock! You guys have a good year too.
Happy New Year!

It's Random

It's been a crazy and stressful week but Shiraz truly cracked me up by telling me what he had done during the past few days. I can't believe that he actually did it and he's got some pictures to prove it.
The second thing which was completely random is he was in Central London and there's an American store selling Japanese goods. I'm completely floored!

ps - I'm so so so so SO tempted to post up a pic of Shiraz in action! XD

Rae had the Best X'mas Dinner

Erm... just wondering, did anyone, apart from me, had leftover pasta with leftover fish curry for dinner last night? :(

Busy busy busy! Dropping by to wish you guys season's greetings... and don't be like me; a workaholic, not by choice frankly. Yours truly gotta work throughout the hol's. Yes, and New Year's too.
How I wish my life was different right now. Argh... me don't wanna get into b*tchy whiny mode right now so I'll leave this post as it is now. It's Christmas season!!!

Joyeux Noël et nouvelle année heureuse !

An Odd Find

There's an addition to the family. Me dad found the tortoise on the roadside. It's an Indian Star Tortoise. I haven't name it yet for I don't know what's its gender. Can someone tell me how to diffrentiate its gender? Oh well, I'd probably name it an unisex name, like erm... Pips or something like that. Oh... Pips sounds nice. My brother, Jack, would probably suggest 'Toitoi', which is kinda funny. I stumbled across the moniker in his shorthand years ago. He was writing a story about a tortoise. >_<
Anyway, me dad feeds Toitoi loads of kangkung (that's water convolvulus for you) so it poops a lot. We gotta change the water for like 3-4 times a day. The poopoo is pretty big and stinks! Blueh~
Milo and Aldo look at Toitoi as a toy. Milo tries to bite it at every opportunity while Aldo smacks it with his paw and makes it turn turtle.

Somewhat Reflecting 2005

Been pretty busy lately (with work, what else...) and it's been VERY stressful having a new boss. A LADY boss at that! *Pulls hair* And I've been watching NHK tv channel a lot lately. Don't ask me, I don't know why.
It's almost the end of 2005. It's been a roller coaster ride (well, it's like that every year... lol) and it's not one of my best years I must point out. I can't think of the good things that happened anyhow... so I hope very much 2006'll turn out be a better one. Oh wait, I remember a few good stuff I discovered/tried this year. Am listing them out for I have a memory of a *insert an animal that has a very poor memory*.
1. Golf
2. Bowling
3. Archery
4. Rediscovering the joy of animes
5. Colour manga with PS
6. Learned to enjoy oldies & jazz
7. Met some new cool online buddies
I can't remember already. I hope I have more than that.
Anyway, many things are swimming 'blissfully' in my mind lately. I've been thinking of pursuing a few things that I've been putting off for quite some time. But there are a lot of sacrifices to be made and I have other commitments too so now I'm in quandary. Stressful working environment encourages me to resign from my current job and go abroad to pursue those things but I have doubts if now is the good time for changes. Oprah Winfrey once said doubt is NO, and I find that to be true. Somehow there's a nagging voice in my head saying it's now or never. Another thing I need to put into consideration is finance. I can't be sponging off my parents at this time! You will come to a time when you realise that you can't depend on your parents for $$$ anymore. Also, my social life is pretty much non-existent. Haven't been going out for.... I don't know... 2-3 months? The next biggest social event is my ex-classmate's wedding lunch this weekend. Yeah, how pitiful. Mind you I was supposed to party myself to death 2 nights ago @ ZoukOut 2005 S'pore. *Sobs*
Can someone tell me what to do?

Sneak Preview

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

On-going projects of mine. On the left is Kin, another Samurai Champloo character and on the right is Mugen doing Saturday Night Fever pose (original art was he doing it to Kin).
Kin only appeared in the manga (and in one chapter only) and he's a magistrate (and playboy) of a town Mugen, Jin & Fuu stopped by.
However, I'm already starting to feel lazy already. Cleaning up the artline's a bore. *Yawns*
ps - BLEACH ANIME/MANGA SPOILER!!!

Rae's Been Working 2 Weeks in a Row Without a Day Off. She's Gonna Crash Soon

Oh my lord, I'm so dog-tired and feeling wonky. I hope things turn out better SOON. Working overnight for the past 2 months is taking its toll already. I've got eyes of a panda and gained a couple of kgs of triacylglycerols. -_-
What's weird is that despite being exhausted, I feel like kicking somone's a$$. I haven't been playing any competitive sport since... only God knows when. I think the last time I pwned someone's a$$ was archery (& bowling) with him, last March. I need to find an outlet to release this pent-up energy.
*Packs her gym bag, hitting the gym after work*
Oh by the way, working overnight has its perks too.
1. 6-8 powerful IBMs with high-speed broadband @ disposal (erm... not really. Streamyx's an a$$)
2. Resort kitchen @ disposal. ^__^ ---> direct result of weight gain >__<
3. Time needed to do 'actual' work is just roughly 2-3 hours so that leaves me 5-6 hours of boredom.
Below is a(nother) result from my effort to kill my time @ work. My all-time favourite wild buck hip-hoppy of a Samurai from Samurai Champloo.

Embarrassment~~~~

I was viewing my blog on an IBM LCD monitor at work and (shock!) the Kuukaku I coloured was an embarrassment!!!! Her hair was a mess and I over-smudged her shirt!!!!!
I forgot to calibrate the monitor I was using~
Below pic, after fix. I hope I got it right. >______<
