Deserted, Tempted, Lost & Bored
He left for Bintan this morning and he brought Frank along with him. Yours truly woke up @ 1300 hours and decided to go the town. Had lunch @ McD's. Walked around the Toa Payoh Centre; sales everywhere. Itch forming. So tempted to shop but is in no position to indulge. He told me you can surf internet @ McD's free which was skeptical. Didn't work for yours truly. Ended up walking around with this heavy lappie. Argh, shoulder's sore. Stopped by at the public library and spent an hour there. Head back home and got lost. Thought that I've stopped at the wrong bus stop. Walked around, couldn't find anything familiar. Hopped onto a bus again. Realised that I've actually stopped at the correct stop. Remembered that I was supposed to buy a prepaid mobile. Wandered around the nearby shop area. Shit. There isn't any shop that sells them. Hot. Sweaty. Sticky. Shoulder sore. Feet hurt. Thirsty. Bought a can drink and head back to the apartment. Plonked my ass on one of the benches at the park below the apartment. Hence this bitch-and-moan on the blog.

Or not. It's been a while since the last post. I've been busy and lazy. Anyway, I've left my job and right now, I'm in Singapore. Reached the Merlion city yesterday. Didn't really enjoy the flight anyway. The goddamn seat is way too small. The only thing I really liked is the fact that it only take less than one hour to reach here. Bliss.
Oh yeah I haven't post any pics up of my short trip to Cameron Highlands. Procrastination is my major, didn't you know?
My last working day was the 10th and I had to change my flight from 26th to 22nd for he's got a 2d/1n company outing to Bintan. **Envy**
So I had almost 2 weeks free. Stuff I did during that time:
1. Learnt how to cook penang laksa (yes I can cook)
2. A swimming lesson from my sis (I've been learning how to swim since...... 2 years ago? **Shame**)
3. Went to turtle sanctuary in Segari 
4. Had the best (yet) banana leaf rice
5. Celebrated dad's 56th birthday
6. Pigging myself out in front of the telly
7. Watched Advent Children & Mr. & Mrs. Smith umpteenth times.
Am using his laptop surfing and my wrists hurt. My 'working area' has been reduced to the floor, right at the main entrance of the apartment. This is the only place that had wi-fi signal. Shitty but I can't complain much, can I? It's free after all.
Okie dokie. I oughta upload my Cameron Highlands pictures now. See you guys later.
