Join WWF's photo mosaic and help protect our forests
Each year around 13 million hectares of natural forest are lost. That's 25 hectares every minute, the equivalent of 36 football fields.

She has Photoshop, alas.
Rae is one happy camper cos she now has Photoshop to use (despite it's just a CS, not CS2). She finally took the initiative to read the instructions properly and call Adobe for activation.

God Must be Mad at Singapore
Singapore's weather is pretty much whacked up. Rain with thunder and lightning for almost every day plus it's kinda cold. Makes me feel so lazy to do move. Wished I had a wand and 'accio' that mineral water bottle at the kitchen counter. D.amn.
Bought a M'sian bestseller last night after reading much raves about it. The Sky is Crazy: Tales from the Trolley Dolly by Yvonne Lee. The title pretty explains everything. It's about her experiences as a flight stewardess for an international airlines (I reckon SIA). I'd recommend it if you are looking for something light and funny.
Doo dee dum... *Looks left and right* I don't have anything else to say so.... I'm signing off. Hmm.

Rock it, Jerry!
Here's the thing. I used to like Pachabel's Canon in D. The first time I heard was from McD's ad (or was it KFC?), it's nostalgic and oh-so-sweet. But then ten years later, I hated it. I was sick of it. I didn't want to listen to it. Shit, the choral was very very VERY overused and commercialised. You can hear it everywhere from movies to ringtones. It's being played during weddings and funerals, for heavens sake. Blueh~
I've known there's a rock version and I ignored it until today. Yes, today. I stumbled across a link and what the hey, I clickety-clicked it. Amazing tune. Truly amazing.
There's a little arguement about who started the rock version. Some claimed it was Yngwie Johann Malmsteen while the rest rooted for JerryC. I pretty much don't care. Im just glad someone did it anyway.
Now. JerryC (http://jerryc.tw) did all his podcasts (or videocasts? I can't keep up with the lingos, yo!) in his room and he's done a concert or two in Taiwan. Great artist, he is. He even did a song about the university he's attending (has he graduated???). Oh I like his Neil Zaza's I'm Alright version, too. Hope he makes it big.
Edit:: Just wanna add that his C stands for 'Chang', his surname. Another Chang, yo! *Insert shannaro Inner Sakura image* and he's doing recording now! Ganbatte!

Rae Got Her In-Depth IQ Test Analysis FREE!
She received an email saying; Rae, As a top-scorer on Tickle's IQ Test, the in-depth analysis of your IQ score is FREE.
Oh... nice. Rae's always liked anything FREE.
*Big Grin*
The report comes together with a certificate too, yo!
*Another BIG Grin*
Anyway, the report explains, in detail, the factors that contribute being a Visual Mathematician with a 133 IQ score. Yes, moi is 133. I scored in the 100th percentile on the mathematical intelligence scale, also a 100th percentile on visual-spatial, 90th percentile on linguistic and another 100th percentile on logical.
It also lists out the GREAT jobs for me:
Physicist - Physics is like one of my worst subjects (Chemistry being the worst one)
Chess player - I suck at it (or I have no interest, maybe)
City planner - I suck at SimCity
Astronomer - Oh la la... stars are pretty
Mathematician - I don't have the guts despite scoring A1 in Add Maths
Researcher - Research what??? Manga? Anime? I want!
It says I've got tons of strengths and would not be surprised if I:
Can give practical application to abstract thought
Can predict patterns
Are resourceful & practical
Envision the "big picture"
Ok ok enough is enough. Need to come back to reality....

I Miss Colouring
I miss CS2, seriously. My hands itch to colour. I've some manga linearts lined up but I don't have the tools. *Cries*My DeviantArt's been neglected again, this time not by choice. I have original (almost obsolete, I think) CS installed but I can't activate the d.amn thing online.

According to Them, I Was Supposed to be a Surgeon or a Lawyer o.O
I took a random online IQ test and the site claimed it to be Ph.D CERTIFIED PREMIUM TEST. *Cough* I scored above 130 (erm... is it good or not). It also stated that my intellectual type is Visual Mathematician. This means you are gifted at spotting patterns — both in pictures and in numbers (I always knew I'm good with numbers ^_^). These talents combined with your overall high intelligence make you good at understanding the big picture, which is why people trust your instincts and turn to you for direction — especially in the workplace.
Oh thank you. Such compliment. The site didn't provide what is the IQ score range so I googled it up. One site shows that only 2.2% of the population (didn't say if it's America or world though) have IQ 130+ and they are classified as Very Superior (I'm very superior, yo~ bow to me mohahaha). Another tells me that I'm in the same league of doctors, surgeons, lawyers and engineers. If so, then why am I here, unemployed and wasting my time taking online tests like this one? I know the answer to that. That's because I'm just utter lazy. Simple.Maybe I should head over to Mensa and try one of the tests. :P
p.s I was in crappy mood for the past weeks so be a darling and let me indulge in my inflated ego for a while.

Shit Hits the Fan & Popping Pills Like an Addict
Didn't feel like blogging for the past week. Well... don't really wanna blog right now actually but I can't leave this neglected. Was down with an urinal infection and now on a 2-week medication. Yes... E.coli in my body (you have them in your colon, you know) was acting up and made me sick. Tummy cramp, fever, nausea, runny nose, sore throat, cough and the works. The doctor said holding pee-pee too long might have caused it. So a lesson learnt laced with very painful pee. Well, not that I want to hold pee but due to the circumstances, I'm just too busy to go to the toilet. Argh... whatever.
Dragged my poor self at 6am to get ready to go to Genting Highlands to celebrate his birthday last Thursday. Land of Kancils & Wiras (lame-ass, I know). Didn't really enjoy it, shh... don't tell him. Didn't go enjoy the outdoor theme park nor the indoor one. We only went for the 4D motion master. Here's the thing, I go to Genting for the theme parks while he, for the casino. Since it's his birthday therefore king of the trip, we spent most of the time in the casino. God I hate it. The cigarette stench made me even sicker. Didn't even take many photos. Blah blah blah. Journey back to the Land of HDBs and Merlion (lame-ass, I know too)... it took longer that it was. I realised we were traveling in KL for an hour or so... made me wonder if the bus driver got lost. Anyway what's cool about the journey was that I got to watch Bruce Lee's Way of the Dragon. LOL. Here's the lame pictorial thing-y.

Pagoda, on the way up to Genting. Rain is pretty much unpredictable over there.
Was waiting for lunch to be served. Had nothing to do so.... hmm... wish I had a better photoshop skill. Wanna crop him out.
My first twin towers shoot. Haha.
Oh yeah, I had a job interview before the trip and I gotta say, I screwed it up. Probably because of the medication I'm on... I didn't really talk much and I think I said something out of context . I thought it's a sure-fire thing because she quoted me a figure for the pay and I agreed to it. *Sigh* But then again, it's pretty ironic. I didn't know the potential employer is a chinese langauge enrichment program and I don't read or write in CHINESE. Must be God's mischievous trick again. I'm so fed up already. The employer was supposed to call me last Saturday but she didn't. Called her just now and she was busy (WTF). She said she has found someone else, who is chinese-literate. She might have another position in 2-3 weeks' time. OMG I can't wait that long! *SIGH* no point moaning and bitching about it now. Headache. Headache. Headache.
Edit:: On a lighter side, I've been entertaining myself with animes and blog-surfing. Current animes: Bleach (The Bound Arc thing is ptui), Naruto, Get Backers and One Piece. Bleach & Naruto up-to-date. Get Backers' at 17 while One Piece, 8. The site I'm dl-ing from is kinda a bit slow at uploading (due to many requests, I think). Know any ddl link, anyone? Hmm.... I'm looking for Samurai Champloo ddl too... can someone provide me a link, please?
