Demystified

::EDIT::
2007, Rae:
(not in any particular order)
- got a year older, non the wiser
- laughed a lot but cried even more
- learned life the hard way
- started to appreciate simple things in life
- found out (a little too late) that compromising and giving instead of taking make things work
- learned to give in
- moved on
- learned to be optimistic
- did things that aren't suppose to be done but didn't do things that needed to be done
- got hit on by a 9-year-old-kid
- got hit on by a bi @ a gaybar
- got hit on by some guy who's old enough to be her grand-dad
- snuck out from work to catch Transformers
- chucked sickings without hesitation
- celebrated CNY away from home for the first time
- had the whole staff of a restaurant to sing her birthday song
- was (and hopefully, still is) the top of a certain someone's chart
- was threatened by some random chick via text message
- beat that beer allergy
- still can't handle wine
- helped a gayfriend score a lay
- persevered
- went to Chippendale-sque show
- enjoyed hitting gaybars
- discovered the world doesn't revolve around her
- got intoxicated far too many times but hasn't chuck yet
- partied hard like there's no tomorrow
- experienced first hand that (some) men are bastards and f*cked up
- clocked massive hours at work for nothing but finally paid off by landing another job with better prospects (and a nicer figure)
- had to learn Spanish
- inked her name in Chinese
- picked up a weird accent
- frenchkissed a girl
- sported a bang
- started to treat herself well and work that body out
- got addicted to running
- walked into a wall
- walked into a lamp-post
- fell in love with Subway cookies
- enjoyed cuisines from all over the world
- was called a geek because she tried 3 different browsers to watch a vidclip
- disgusted by women while watching Angelina Jolie lures Beowulf with her looks and words
- had the worst sunburn of her life
- tried to stop blogging but failed
- somewhat gave up on hope
- (or rather her back and Mushu) appeared in some chinese newspapers
- crossed paths with new peeps, small handful stayed and most of them went off
- achieved her goal of living in (somewhat) luxurious residence
- hasn't found the answer yet
- was labelled arty-farty and full of shit
- partied til dawn at zoukOut
- celebrated new year's eve as VIP @ Siloso (thank you Ken & Rach)
- wondered when will God stop this jokefest on her

Y'know the cliche 'life is a roller coaster'? Well without a doubt, 2007 is definitely the maddest ride ever in her 26 years occupying planet earth. Not sure if that's a good thing or not but she's a feeling it's gonna end soon.
2007 saw her doing loadsa new things; they're exhilarating and inspiring, some're pain in the butt, while some can't be mentioned here. But one thing's for sure, it's a year of trials and tribulations. One of God's efforts to toughen her up (Rae's too self-absorbed and emo).
2007, what a year. I really wanted to say it's one hell of a year.
So yeah, may the year ahead brings cheers and laughters. God speed.

She Screwed it Up Big Time

She's still digesting on the thing she's done. In the back of her mind, it's so clear that it's going to be so wrong. She even pointed it out to the person involved. Yet she still did it.
*Sigh* Rae.... what have you done hey? It's the ultimate No-No, Rae. You really screwed it up big time. Even God can't help you this time. So there.

It's an Oath She'll Take and Stick it to the End

When all the riches, glitz and glamour gone, you'll get to see the ones who stay behind. They are the ones you should hang on to.
Funny how things work. Begged for the friendship but vanished when someone you reckon cooler crosses your path. Funny you guys think that she's invincible.
While battling ennui and langour, a hungry friend asked a favour over MSN to order dindin via telephone (mobile outta credit). Food ordered: KFC Buddy Meal. Buddy Meal. Yeap, it's a buddy meal alright. She feels bad that you only had KFC for Christbo.... you and her could have go out for a good dindin just now. Ah well...
This year's Christbo was kinda odd. Didn't really look forward to it few days prior but suddenly woke up on Eve with semangat natal yang berkobar-kobar (that's multi-amplified Christbo spirit to you proper English speakers out there) Was jolly happy throughout the day until she unintentionally stood a friend up for a movie during Eve (cos yours truly thought it's Christbo day while friend mentioned it's Eve... wow... I'm sorry you waited 30 minutes before you decided 'Ah... to hell with you, Rae'. Most of all, I'm sorry you had to watch it ALONE!). But then again, you claimed you sent massive texts and you were worried something bad might happen to me cos I didn't reply any of your texts. I DIDN'T RECEIVE ANY OF THOSE! Hah.... hey, you went on watching the movie without trying to find out what's up with me! You only called to check on me after it's finished.
Something could really happened to me! What a WTFBBQSAUCE friend you are! LOL
Soon found out movie texts messages/Christbo wishes sent to yours truly were freakin' delayed. Randomly getting them when I was @ the club and finally the last one was received @ 7a.m. which was about the time she had to wake up to go to work. Randomly replied them (in on-the-piss manner) and ended up waking the wellwishers up. Wahahaha Sorry~~~~
3 hours sleep, woke up still drunk... nosebled during shower... wahahaha. Now stuck at home with a killer blister on my foot from those killer heels. What a Christmas!
Yeah well, Happy Christmas anyway. Oh wait, Happy Boxing Day instead. Hope you a good one too.

Her Quotes

Had someone farted on her: Do that again and I'll stick these chopsticks up yer ass.
Catching up with a long lost friend: The last picture you showed me, you were like.... pre-pub or something....
Had someone pestering her to spill something out: Will tell you if you're a help. If not, sit at the corner and suck your thumb.
Silenced someone whom telltold on her before: If you (pull a snitch)sic on me, I'm so gonna hunt you down and dice you up and make spaghetti bolognaise outta you.
Consoling a friend: No you are not a c*nt, you are just some a$$f**ker.
Yikes, Rae is sure crude.

As It Ticks By

I'm at the grimmest chapters ever. Marley's in his old age and was on the way to doggie heaven. Woah... this is hard. It's painstakingly hard for me to continue poring through each page. Eyes rimmed with tears makes reading even more pain in the butt.
I can relate so much with 'Marley & Me'. Maybe because Milo's a lab-mixed. Milo might not be the Best-in-Show or the most obedient or intelligent one, but he sure is the most awesome guy in my life. I wished I could get Milo here with me but I can't be that selfish. It'd be so unfair for him; all alone as I'd be at work almost 24-7. He has the family, 'Do & 'Co with him back home. He'll be taken care of. If he's here, I can't even guarantee if I could feed him on time (I believe in consistency) and walk him. *Sigh*
I miss you so much, babe.
On another note, someone whom I thought had ceased to exist in her life three months ago reappeared for 58 seconds last week.
Why did you appear again? I've put everything behind me. Just a simple hello rocked my boat. I knew not what to say when you called. I knew not how to react. It spooked the bejeezus outta me discovering how much impact you had on me. I barely knew you but we talked like long lost friends. I told you my whole life story without slightest hesitation. I thought my prayer was answered then but reality decided to reveal its ugly face. I was sent to hell and back. I stayed on for a little while bcause of the maybes, perhaps and what-nots but I told myself not to be stupid and gotta move on. And move on, I did. You dared show yourself again after all the things you said and done, rather, not done for your case. Funny, you're out of reach again now, leaving me to wonder if you gonna slide in and turn my life upside down again. But when you do, I'll be a better person. I'll withstand whatever that's coming. I'll be stronger. I won't let you throw me off my groove again.

When There isn't Anything Else to Look Forward to

Christbo's less than 2 weeks' shy. Looking at the work schedule, there's nothing much Rae can look forward to. She isn't feeling the mood. Probably she should spin Christbo carols on her iTunes more often to up her spirit.

O come, all ye faithful,
Joyful and triumphant,
O come ye, O come ye to Bethlehem;
Come and behold him,
Born the King of angels;
O come, let us adore him,
O come, let us adore him,
O Come, let us adore him, Christ the Lord.

Anyway, she bought herself some pressies a couple of days ago. One of them is below:

Killer heels.

Then, today she wandered into the bookstore upstairs and got this paperback.
Anyone who knows her well will know what's gonna happen when she reads such things. She's gonna weep like a baby. Seriously. She's already choked with tears by the time she's into page 2. ON PREFACE. Sucka.

Did you see that? DID YOU SEE THAT!? a PRODUCT(RED) V3xx!!!!!! Rae super hates it when this happens. Nevertheless, she's swapping a new phone soon. The current (burnt orange) V3xx's failing. Doesn't vibrate. Goes stupid on her when she answers calls. PMS-ing on her when playing mp3s. This could be the excuse to get a new phone. That (red) V3xx or iPhone?! Not really keen of waiting for iPhone til June next year (?) but definitely don't wanna get an unlocked one now cos Rae is one of those who need warranty to save her life if you get her drift. Dilemma.

On a light note, Rae aimed to do 10km today but had to stop at 4km because her tummy started to growl for food. Stupid.

Not-so-regular Saturday Night

Reached home from work late. Took a shower. Still feeling nausea and tummy's feeling funky plus feverish(oh she's down with food poisoning since Thursday. Or was she lactose-intolerant? She can't figure it out but what she knows is that it's one hey of a feeling; chucking both ways and high fever ensued. Why oh why?).
Anyway, one would assume Rae'd be out hitting Clarke Quay or something tonight but no.... she's staying home. She's staying home folding her laundered clothes. She's effin' domesticated today. Is it a good thing?

Amazing Discovery - Iceberg lettuce sarnie with alfredo sauce. Best if you have milk bread. Yummers~
*Sudden craving for bread pudding with heaps of vanilla sauce...*

Not-so-regular Wednesday Night

Over glasses of chardonnay @ Balaclava after a mad Japanese buffet session nearby.
G: Hey, I've always wanted to see some girl action on picking up guys. *looks expectantly*
R: *pokerfaced* And no, I'm not gonna be your experiment.

Now Bala is a great pick-up place. Girls there are hot albeit of older age (min age is 25. You made it, G!). And Rae can safely say that most of them are SQ girls (SIA air stewardesses. Mostly old birds with 3 inches thick of warpaint if you get her drift *siam foodtrays, forks and spoons thrown at her*). Guys who patronise the waterhole are bankers and lawyers. Yeap, major league. Rae & G playing in the major league. Hahaha, nah we were just there for the live music but sadly, it wasn't as good as the first time she visited there. We called it a night and I left to St. J for a staff member's birthday. Was planning to do a Mambo Jambo @ zouk (oh I've finally met a mambo kaki! And he's hot! XD) but he's got some other arrangements. Oh well...
Now @ St J..... had little chickadees trying their luck to get some grind. Blueh... I reckon I should stick to Clarke Quay.
Oh ya.... speaking of Japanese buffet. WTFBBQSAUCE (rant time) there's this skank cut in when we were queueing up to pay. Then she turned to us, "oh you were in the line?" then proceeded to pay while saying this to the cashier, "oh they allowed me to pay first," while G & I left astounded. Oh screw you bitch. Hope you had the runs that night. Count yourself a lucky skank that G & I overate that night and this thing didn't happen a couple of years ago. I'd probably give you the commemoration of the century and throw in a bitch-slap or two then. Hah. Just don't let me bump into you again.

What Matters to Her

Her ammo.

Frank. Many great moments were (beautifully) captured.

Body lotion. Mango. Good things in life.

Piggy comes to the rescue during rainy days.

Her favorite keychain-thingamajiq.

She had fun with these earrings.

Egyptian cotton bedlinens. Enough said.

Friends think of her when they read or watch it.

Boo. Her sleeping companion. Her beck and call.

She loses her sanity without this.

Her favorite earstuds.

Her signature scent.

When the tough gets going, Spongebob comes to the picture.

And They Made Her Go Weak

Those eyes with that cheeky twinkle. Those eyebrows. Those cute ears. Those lips. That jawline. That smile. That laughter. Those broad and relaxed shoulders. They looked very reliable. That gait.
However it's those hands that made her go crazy. She loved their slenderness. She loved the crookedness of those fingers. She loved how they looked on her body. They looked they belong there. Those hands potrayed elegantness yet casualness to her and at the same time she could imagine how naughty they can be. She could imagine what those hands can do to her. Those hands are the most perfect hands she's ever seen. This is the first time how just a pair of hands can make her go head over heels. Funny thing is that they are unreachable. And too bad she's unable to post a photo of those hands up for you guys to appreciate too.
This is mad. Too much for her to handle. *Off to the gym to defuse*

zoukOoooooout 2007

It's the damnest, bestest, most awesome, funkiest party ever.
So what if the food and the ammo sucked ass? The crowd, the music, the atmosphere and the peeps you hang out with mattered the most (she didn't get bitches bitch-bumped her on the dancefloor for once. Woohoo! She gets that all the time at clubs.).
To the cherry-pies and beefcakes she partied with, heaps of thanks! You guys rocked! Almost indescribable (well, partly because they clubbed it til 7.30 this morning.... she's beat), let the photos show you the amazing time they had. Enough said.

Let Her Entertain You For A Little While More

So yeah life is really awkward without blogging. She realised she can't really live without it. Heck with everything. Abandoning her blog due to some shit insecurity (not hers, truth be told. There are bigger things to worry about)? What was she thinking anyway?! It's not the time yet. Not just yet.
She's very grateful for being called a dumbass just the other night over MSN. Thank you for being there. Thank you for listening to her crap and telling her off. You know who you are. She needed that. Weird how you and her met but yeah she's glad to know you. She isn't the type who needs sweet words. She's the type who chooses to face reality square on the face. Wait a sec, is she? Really? She often contradicts herself. But fret not, she told herself, she's gonna emerge tougher and stronger.
Many a time she finds herself trying to figure out why things happen. Many a time, when she thinks everything's gonna be fine, some shit shines its glory to her face (Yay?). Well, she isn't blaming everyone. It's just that the Boss up there has a funky way showing her His love. So yea there are times she doubts Him but she knows deep inside He wants her to learn what life's about. The hard way, sadly. Mohaha. Damn, another thing she realised that life indeed has taken a weird ass turn after moving to Singapore. The peeps that crossed her path. Some stayed. Some left. There are certain things that are meant to be over and done with. They aren't circumstance. Leave them as they are and then move on. There are just times that you have to choose not to act on them. You have control over them.
Ah anyway her point of posting this up is that she's gonna continue entertain y'all with her crap on this blogosphere. And as usual, with a grammar of a 8-year-old. Hah. Chapter closed.

Quote of the day: It's not so much about being in front, its about fighting the fight, and not giving up till the end. Its about giving it your all, and never fearing the odds.

Ok so we are done with the emo shit.... zoukOut's this weekend!!! She's definitely doing it.
Rae: Hey erm, Marie... I need the weekend off... I've got something on.
Marie: Oh? Is it really important?
R: Yeah and also I'd like to change my shift on Saturday to morning. Is it alright?
M: ... (reluctant). You know that there's a midnight sale exercise going on that night, right?
R: Yeah, I'd appreciate if it can be done... well erm... after that, my life is yours hey.
M: *Laughing her head off* Ok! Ok! I like that.

So there... she traded her life for the rave. It'd better be the damnest, bestest, most awesome, funkiest party ever and it'd better not rain.
Thank you Super Dodo for going (& getting free ammo for her soon!). She almost didn't feel like going... moahaha. And thank you Seb for agreeing to go with her too (sorry she made you dragged an innocent friend along too). Forsee fun, fun, fun, and more fun (she needs this). The question is will she be seeing you pansies there?
