The Acquired Taste and The Missing Spongebob
Chinese who hate century eggs should be ashamed of themselves.Ok that sounded kinda mean but hey...
I was jonesing over it like a preggie woman earlier so I'm having two for dessert now. Heh.
Ok I will admit it's an acquired taste and it looked kinda gross. But when you get over that odor of ammonia and have it with heaps of pickled ginger, oh man it feels like the heaven shines its light upon you.
Now, nouveaux century eggs can be made according to Harold McGee, a food science dude. First soak eggs a 5% sodium Chloride, 4.2% Sodium Hydroxide solution for 8 days and then cooking at 70 degrees centigrade for about 10 minutes. Instead of dark green yolk and dark brown jelly-looking, nouveoaux century eggs have a set of yellow yolk and colorless white. Ain't that uber cool. I wonder if I should try making it.
Anyway... lost/left my house keys the other day. Left them in a cab. Thank god I managed to retrieve them. Felt kinda stupid cos my key chain is humongous (Topshop strips of ribbons and some crystals) so it was easy to be spotted plus it has a Spongebob. Felt kinda embarrassed when describing them to the Lost and Found over the phone. I swear I heard a chuckle over the phone when I said Spongebob. &@#^&%@(*
On another note, I'm missing Suikoden long time. Oh my god, I want a PS3 but there isn't any Suikoden for PS3 yet. There are talks about Suikoden being listed for PSP and PS3 on ersb.com but nothing is concrete. If I buy PS2 to feed my Suikoden fix and then Konami kicks up a Suikoden VI PS3 compatible, I'd kill myself. But if I buy PS3 and Konami has no plans for a Suikoden PS3 compatible, I'd hang myself. And that satin silver PS3 looks so sexy-until-can-die.com. And Sony released a limited edition 160GB last month. HOW???????????????????????
