Sasha's Day
December 11th is Sasha's Day. Who is Sasha, you'd ask? See below.
That's Sasha. Sasha is a one-year-old pale Labrador but she's a bit tad small for a lab. She had be given up by her owner, Mr. CC because he got kicked out by his wife and Sasha and her 5 other pooch siblings were locked inside the toilet for nearly a month before the neighbors informed Mr. CC. Mr. CC had to break into his own house to save the dogs. The wife was no where to be seen. The dogs were in bad shape but all survived. Sasha was plagued by scabies, just like Mr. Milo.
That was 4 months ago.
And as you can see, she's getting back on track. There are still a couple of scratch wounds and her ears and eyes swell a bit still but she's healing. Her fur's growing back. What's great about her is that she's not affected by the ordeal at all. She's as spunky as ever.
That is why she is Sasha Chang now. My heart went for her because she's a fighter and a survivor. Just like my Milo and Aldo. Milo survived scabies and terminal tick fever. Aldo survived a hit-and-run and many many dogfights.
I thought of changing her name to Dakota but Mr. L said Sasha suits her and we can call her Sasha Fierce. -____-
She's a typical Lab. Hyper, loves her food and very very very playful. A bit too hyper and playful to my liking actually and her discipline needs to be worked on a lot. Chang dogs must know how to sit when being told. Chang dogs must be calm when being told. At wits' end, I made her run 2.5km with me in the evening so she's pooped now. Phew. One thing I have to point out that she's a racist. She barks at all darker skinned peeps that walk by. An issue that needs to be taken care of ASAP.
And she's the first dog I've ever seen that burps. XD
So December 11th is the day I brought her home. I hope it's gonna be a wonderful journey with her from now on.
