The Day She Cried for the Prancing Horse
Ms. Goyal and Mr. Ren watched it from the grandstand while Mr. Wong witnessed it illegally and Mr. Lim watched it on tv. Where was Ms. Chang? She was at work. Yes, she's stuck in the centre of the track and she only managed to watch the final lap. Ms. Goyal diva-ed on her saying how awesome it was from the grandstand while Mr. Wong kept pestering her to join him upstairs. Mr. Lim updated Ms. Chang from time to time via sms which caused Ms Chang's loss of concentration at work. Ms. Chang's heart exploded when Mr. Lim texted that Massa's pitstop got fucked up. which brought me back to when Schuey's car caught fire in Austrian GP few years back. So her gut feeling of Alonso's gonna win was a spot-on. It didn't help that Raikonen finished at the bottom... black day for Ferrari indeed.

A New Check to Her List
I did manage to watch the F1 pre-race and it was crazily deafening and super amazing that I wish I was at the grandstand. Funny that it was Webber and Vettel who did the 3D simulator and it was Webber who became the first casualty and Vettel had hard time dealing with the street track. Am not really happy with Alonso dominating the track but no one knows what's going to happen on Sunday evening. The race cars zoomed so fast that I could only see a strip of color from our spot. A further scouting for better spots led me and the team to an amazing view of the race. I went berserk when a Ferrari zoomed by.
I'm getting the camera ready this time.
I must point out that it's a really gorgeous GP, which such breathtaking background and the cars looked so sexy under the lights. Go to the official GP site to view its updated gallery. So yes, a new thing done this year.
Greatness. I think I'm gonna get tickets for next year.
Cheerio.

Mornin' Bitchin': Overheard
Overheard a remark from the dude behind me while queueing for my almost daily Big Breakfast:
Stupid fucking Aston Villa Martin people ordered 22 sets.
There's one reasonable-sized Aston Villa Martin dude standing nearby waiting for the orders to get ready and this ignoramus of a lame dick is that typical specky and geeky pencil-pusher who I suspect works... Oh I don't know... Hmm... for a foreign bank. Don't forget about the other 21 Aston Villa Martin dudes sitting over there who by the way look like they can take you on at anytime of the day with baby elephant strapped to their waist. Funny thing is that lame dude's girlfriend kept checking out the macho-looking Aston Villas Martins.
This is one typical Singaporean habit that I cannot stand.
p.s. - I'm such a dope!

The Almost Obligatory F1 Entry
So next up is the Singapore's Night Race which is gonna happen this frigging weekend and it gives me mixed feelings. To cut a long story short, here's my w00t-list and my nyeh-list for the GP.
w00t List:
1. The fucking cavallino rampante. I've been all for the prancing horse ever since they hired Irvine. Seeing those red flags and banners gives me goosebumps.
2. Vettel. The fact that he's the quickest driver to get a fine in F1, being fined 9 seconds into his career kinda makes me smile. Nevertheless, I do secretly hope that he'll switch team to Ferrari and be the 2nd Schuey (though I know there'll never be another Schuey but hey, who knows?)
3. Pitstops. Know not why but I just love 'em. Images of Guido doing the pitstop in Cars flew through my head.
4. Zouk at the Padang party.
Nyeh List:
1. I'm literally stuck in the centre of the race track for that whole weekend. No kidding. Ok, maybe not Saturday. Wonder if I could steal a peek or two.
2. No Schuey.
3. Crazy and super confusing road closures. LTA fucks up big time.
4. Extended operation hours.
To make things less boring, here comes the pichures (pardon the low quality):
Dude in uniform diverted us to this road while on the way home. This will be the place where Vettel kicks Alonso's lucky ass but at the same time, I'm hoping for a Ferrari to pwn the checkered flag.
The not-so-cheap Esplanade grandstand seats.
p.s. - zouk's F1 party flyer is uber awesome with a bling'd F1 race car.

Think; Search; Select; Confirm; Pay.
Lance Armstrong left a few words on Scarlet after I finished my longest run just the other day, which kinda tickled the blah outta me.
Anyway, that's not this post is about.
I've been wanting to do some travelling but never really got around to do it due to the usual la la la... and also there are so many places that I know not where to start which kinda makes me wish that I had a Jumper for a boyfriend. Hmm... Anyway, guess starting on a small scale is a good thing to go. Now that I've done my first solo trip to Desaru early this year, I'm quite ready to go beyond. Next destination: REP. I'm keen doing it solo but I don't mind a couple of companions provided they are not the kind who'd go diva on me when we are doing the touristy thingamajig. I'm aiming for a fuss-free, low-cost, almost back-packing kinda thing. And I don't wanna commit 3/4 of my time there SHOPPING.
My main objective for this trip is to visit those hidden temples of which Angkor is famed for. Then maybe we could do a Matt Harding while we're there.
Anyway, it's just planninng and stuff but it's gonna be awesome so look for out for more.
Til then.
A piece of random info: The Golden Arches do not exist in Vietnam, which I reckon is uber awesome. despite how much love I have for Big Breakfast and Hotcakes. 3 cheers for Vietnamese government.

What Don't Kill Me Make Me Stronger
About 4 months ago, someone dropped a crap saying he's gonna solve the problem and look for her. A total crap which kinda bound her so things got even crappier. *Shrug shoulder*
Wished she had the guts to make him apologize and admit that he doesn't mean those words like the other time he did. Stupid mofo.
Now, things are never easy it comes to ahem, lub. I know of a situation this girl is facing. She left her home and family to be with this guy and the thing is that she despises the place nation they are staying now. I might wanna add the word despise is a tad too mild to describe how she feels about the place. It's beyond despise. Disgust? I don't know I'm never good with words but that isn't a matter now. I feel sorry for her yet at the same time I admire her. To give up a pampered and easy life to be together with someone in a place where (in her point of view) no manners, fashion, sophiscation and the la la la I can't remember don't exist is never an easy thing to do and it is almost noble.
*Sigh*
Moving on to a lighter note:
One of the cutest t-shirt Rae owns so far. TRF FW08, marked down. Cheap. Only at S$16.90.
He said Singapore roads have never been so bright! Taken while on the way home from work on soon-to-be F1 track. Ain't really looking forward to that weekend.
Genius on White Boy = awesomeness.

Just a Little Bit of This and a Little Bit of That
I swear I haven't been around the playground of late. Work and somethin' somethin' consumed me. Updated iTunes to version 8 but haven't have the time to play with it. I've got movies like Fight Club, 3:10 to Yuma, Dead Poets Society, Citizen Kane, Love Story, Sabrina, Ocean's and the likes are waiting for me to watch. While my last run was.... can't even remember and truth be told, I've only ran twice last month and for this month, once. So people good news for you guys, Rae's getting rounder on the tummy. And a couple of things that have been became quite worrying of late; I'm getting tired very easily now and I've been spending way too much on clothes. Three days ago: 2 dresses from Zara Kids (size 11-12, that's my size.).The day before: stripe sweatshirt and leggings. Yesterday: A checked skirt from Zara Kids and a cardigan. Today: A long gypsy dress. I seriously gotta stop buying stuff. My clothes no longer fit into my closet that I have to store some in my landlord's closet.
Never matter, I finally have some time for myself. Am downloading the iPhone 2.1 and it's gonna take another 55 minutes so can't really re-update the iTunes to US version. Quite frankly, iTunes 8's acting weird; the active window clickamajiq can't be used that I have to click my desktop icon to make it an active window. *Mendoksai nah~*OK OK! Enough of Apple! Some imagery to make things less mundane:

Joke of the Day

You gotta be kidding me, right?
EDIT:::: My bad, for being a know-nothing. Fellow Apple-natic, Ted, advised me to choose US instead of Singapore upon installing it to enable genius. He, being awesome, told me that iPhone 2.1 software is out, via iTunes 8.

Damn You Apple
So the gang has launched the new iPod nanos. In the shape and size that I've always fancied and in the colors that I absolutely adore, particularly in that yellow. Give those babies a shake and they will shuffle the tunes for you. Turn them sideways and they will show you the cover flow a la White Boy would do for me when I tilt him sideway.*Bangs head on the keyboard*
I'm contemplating to ebay Scarlet so I could get Yellow Yellow Dirty Fellow. Heh.

Rae's Not Really Happy Because:
1. likes her blog's new look but the visitor tracker ain't really working.
2. had so much things to do at work.
3. missed out Human Race cos she wasn't physically and mentally prepared plus she had to work that day.
4. couldn't get the exact color she wanted for her new running shoes.
5. her Nike+ thingamajiq ain't really working right. She swore she ran that 1km trek for 4 and half rounds but Scarlet showed 2.41km.
6. she has no weekend off this week.
7. that 500 thread count cotton sateen queen-sized bedsheet she've just bought was an ill-fit for her queen bed. Hah....?
Enough said.

Revamping raechang.info
Yo.
So Rae's finally changed the look of raechang.info after I don't know, 2 years +?
Truth be told, I've been wanting to change it but never got around to do it as I could not find a template that I want. I was determined to get a template of similar color yet of simpler design but what the hey... It's not done yet; as you can see, the sidebar font's kinda fucked up and I haven't put up my links and comments thingamajiq and widgets and the la la la.
But there ya go!

White Boy: the Heartbreaker
I'm loving my White Boy long time albeit it treating me shit by missing certain basic features. *Will.i.am's Heartbreaker plays on background* Yes, I can overlook all those though I have to point out that there's just one thing that I can't get over with; why the *toot* did Apple put that bluetooth thingamajiq and restrict it. ^&^&%(@$#&!@!)$_@.Ok currently White Boy's temporarily protected with some tacky silicone condom. Only managed to get that ZAGG Invisible Shield for my Scarlet the (RED) iPod when I braved epicentre at COMEX last weekend. White Boy has just gotta wait for his own InviShield a week or so. Was tempted to get that Nike Flight headphones at COMEX but I no longer have the privilege to spend. I'm aiming for that sexy MacBook Air which will be christened Slim Ass. My Dell-o serves me well but it has a history.Heh, I think I'm gonna be an Apple whore soon.Imagery of the week:
In Ted we trust. Found tucked in my waistcoat. This is so cute I had to forward to a friend named Ted as well. HeheiTunes' loving Kanye West's Bittersweet Poetry. Oh by the way, who's going to Kanye West's concert???
