Rocking in the Kitchen
So I did manage to drag myself to the wet market and get the stuff I need to cook pig trotters. Got Ms. Sasha a bouquet of 'mums too. She seems to like it.

Without further ado...
Brown sugar, which I put too generously. Made the soup a tad bitter aftertaste. Damnation. Salvaging it by adding light soy sauce.
I got too excited, actually too lazy to follow instructions that I chucked the pig trotter in right after frying the ginger. The web recommended fry the ginger and then put black vinegar and water and let boil. Ah man. My grandma usually marinates the trotter first... so what the heck. It's all depends on the chef ain't it?
Hopefully it turns out yummy. It smells good so far.
Now, time for Ms. Sasha, who's been watching me rocking the kitchen, to take her bath.
Will update to tell ya how my trotter turns out.
Laters.
p.s. - Ms. Sasha Fierce wrecked Frank, my digital camera. Damnation.
UPDATE- My first attempt on pig trotter with black vinegar: success. Yums.
