Beware of the Red Poop
Lord did have mercy on us and He made it rained the other day so I took the opportunity to bake the critically-acclaimed Southern U.S. classic, Red Velvet Cake. Recipe found at www.joyofbaking.com. The ingredients for the cream cheese frosting was kinda hard to find (where the hell can I get MASCARPONE in this god-forsaken place) so I searched for alternative using Philly cream cheese @ www.simplyrecipes.comWell, I'm not sure if I did right but it tasted just like any other cake while the cream cheese frosting was just decadent. Too decadant and sinful. I might wanna add that it's quite a choice for a wedding cake, y'know, with some black fondant roses and bows and stuff. ^_^
Truth be told, I photoshopped this photo for visual aesthetic value. The cake wasn't this bright, in fact it was darker like those gorgeous dark red roses. And it was much messier, crumbly, to be precise. LOL
Anyway, I'm forseeing my family to produce red poop tomorrow. LMAO
